John Morton retired after 11 years as the head ski coach at Dartmouth College and decided that he would train and compete as a masters skier. The book is a "how to" about training, equipment, technique, psychology and strategy for cross country skiing. It is made entertaining and lively by relevant stories and observattions of the Nordic skiing world from John's career as an athlete and a coach.
Matt has four more years to prepare for the next Olympic Winter Games, to be held in the city of Muju, in South Korea. As he prepares for these Games, he pursues his college education and serves in the National Guard. Balancing his commitments to the National Guard, his education and his biathlon training are a challenge which once again take Matt around the globe.
